Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information DoctorApp collects, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account details: name, email address, optional phone number, password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Appointment data: the doctor, time, mode, status and an optional note you add when booking.
- Session outcome: the status a doctor records after a consultation (and any brief note they add).
- Technical data: device and log information needed to keep the service secure.
How we use it
To provide bookings and video consultations, send confirmations and reminders, keep the platform secure, and meet legal obligations. Push notifications and emails never include health details beyond the fact and time of an appointment.
Who can see it
Your doctor sees only what they need to hold your consultation: your name, your booking note and appointment details. Doctors cannot see other patients' information. Administrators can see account and appointment records for operating the service, and sensitive actions are logged.
Video calls
Calls use a third-party real-time video provider. Calls are not recorded. Access is granted through short-lived credentials issued only to the two participants during the scheduled window.
Retention and deletion
We keep records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal requirements, then delete or anonymise them. Contact support to request access to or deletion of your data.
Contact
