Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of DoctorApp, a platform for booking and attending online consultations with independent doctors and therapists.
1. Not an emergency service
DoctorApp does not provide emergency, crisis or urgent-care services. If you or someone else may be in danger, or you are experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, contact your local emergency number immediately.
2. Accounts
- Patients create their own account and must provide accurate information.
- Doctor accounts are created by platform administrators; doctors cannot self-register.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
3. Booking, cancellation and rescheduling
Appointments are confirmed when a time slot is successfully reserved. You may cancel or reschedule within the deadlines shown at booking and on your appointment page. Late changes may not be possible. Where fees apply, refunds follow the policy displayed at the time of booking.
4. Consultations
Consultations take place over a secure video connection within the join window shown on your appointment. Calls are not recorded. Doctors exercise their own professional judgement; the platform does not provide automated diagnosis or treatment recommendations.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt to access other users' data, or interfere with its operation. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
6. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
